Meng Heng  Loke

Meng Heng Loke obtained a PhD in Earth Sciences from the University of Birmingham (UK) in 1994. He was a Lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia from 1982 to 2007. He is currently the Director of Geotomo Software (Malaysia), a company that specializes in 2D and 3D electrical imaging software. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Applied Geophysics and of SEG, EAGE, and EEGS. His field of specialization is in inversion techniques and software development for 2D and 3D electrical imaging surveys, particularly in the development of fast computer algorithms. His current research includes the automatic calculation of optimized arrays for 2D and 3D electrical imaging surveys, parallel computer algorithms using multi-core CPUs and GPUs, 64-bit programming techniques, fast data compression methods, and 2D and 3D geoelectrical forward modelling codes.
