Thomas  Kalscheuer
Associate Editor

Thomas Kalscheuer joined Uppsala University, Sweden, as a Senior Lecturer in Applied Geophysics in November 2013. From 2009 to 2013, he was a Post-doctoral Researcher in applied geo-physics at ETH Zürich. In 2008, he was awarded a PhD in Geophysics at Uppsala University. His research has focused on the development of interpretation schemes for data from various electromagnetic (EM) methods, the joint interpretation of EM, seismic and borehole data, and the application to geotechnical, hardrock, tectonic, hydrological, geothermal, and volcanological targets. In numerical development, he has contributed to individual and joint inversion schemes of data from EM and geoelectric methods in 1D and 2D, novel approaches to model error and resolution analyses, and 3D forward modelling algorithms for EM methods. He has (co-)supervised numerous PhD, MSc, and BSc thesis projects.
