Mike Müller-Petke received his diploma in Geophysics from the University of Leipzig, Germany in 2005 and his PhD in 2009 from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany. In 2010, he became a staff researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Applied Geophysics in Hannover, Germany at the Section of Rock Physics and Borehole Geophysics. His research activities focus on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) covering laboratory, borehole, and field applications mainly in the field of hydrogeophysics. He has worked in the fields of signal processing, modelling and inversion, and rock physics. He gives lectures on NMR at the Technical University of Berlin and has supervised and co-super-vised PhD students.
